Hello, I first bought door closers, a good thing if the DS hinges are more expensive; if they are the cheapest, then even this plastic closer is enough to prevent the door from closing completely, it simply opens it. I had to add magnets, for example, in two different places; whichever one you like more is closer to the middle and less obtrusive, while the one closer to the edge is more effective. I purchased this for fixing sliding doors, but the magnetic force that holds them in place from side to side is smaller than I expected. There shouldn't be any problem with the sliding door type...
